Today for me was very chilled. I love listening to audio books. I went for a lovely walk on my own listening to a book.

Day 31 Hair Dye

The day started very chilled. We all went back to bed to watch a film. Later whilst tidying up my shed ready for being back to school Monday. My neighbour was chatting over the fence. She spoke about an article where they dyed their hair using tissue paper dipped in boiling water. Obviously we had to have a go. We lated treated ourselves to a take away pizza. This was a highlight for me. The pizzas have to be booked well in advance and you are given a 10minute slot where you can collect. I was able to also do some food shopping. Whilst waiting for my slot I sat in my car people spotting. It was such a highlight 🤣

Pregnant again

I am pleased to announce that we are expecting a new addition to the Turner family. I have always said I would like 4 children so it was only a matter of time and I also said I would want Rhys to be at least 2 years old. The second Baby Turner or Squash as our nickname is due to arrive around the 9th October 2011. As with previous dating scan experience I expected the date to be later but instead this time it was brought forward 2 days. We have been trying to come up with some boys names, the girls name have been sorted since before Rhys was born so we have really struggled, especially with the fact we only ever had one name for a boy and that was Rhys. So we are having to think especially because we have a thing for 4 letter names and at the minute there's about 10 names and nothing that we can agree on 100%!

Jake and his allergies!

Well it has been a year since Jake has been tested for milk and egg allergy. We last went to the hospital 6 months ago, whereupon they decided to avoid testing him and wait for another further six months due to the reactions that he had been having in the previous 6 months. Jake is that sensitive lately that we have found that if we touch him after having egg on our hands his face will swell as though he has been in a boxing match. However, with Marks own Tree Nut allergy the doctor did test Jake for hazel and peanut and found he wasn’t allergic which was very good news for us as we were worried and had avoided these completely in his diet. When it comes to being tested now, Jake is an absolute star. He has never cried and looks at what is going off. They mark 6 points to be tested, a neutral, a positive, egg yolk, egg white, pure milk and powdered milk.
