Day 8 - Then It All Went To Pot!

Day 8. Boris has informed us we are on a lock down.  This means keyworkers can still go to work, deliveries can still be made and we can go out for a daily walk.

Sorry I can't credit who took this picture but I felt it was fitting.

Sadly what some have interpreted this as is we can all get together, have a BBQ, or go out for the day. I seriously do not understand some peoples mind sets. Travelling is supposed to be for essential journeys only this is to reduce the need for our emergency services elsewhere. However we have seen scenes are traffic jams.

How is the home schooling going? - well to pot!

I am that frustrated with technology it is unbelievable. I have had to set each child up with an old phone and a kindle tablet to get their school activities and keep them in contact with their friends. I have tonight decided we are going back to how we did it last week and we will use them after 2pm or the pc when it is needed.

We did very little in regards to school work. In the end I encouraged them to enjoy the sunshine as much as possible. We later made bread rolls or cobs as we call them and biscuits to fill the tin for our snack.
I have planned tomorrow to again to be more simple and to listen and watch more educational activities.

House wise - I have set up deliveries for fruit and veg and milk to not have to worry about these journeys. Although Mark thinks there is no need, I feel the need to not have to go out.

Top Tips Today

Don't upset yourself if you have to give in. This is going to be a long process. We have to take each day as it comes and stay positive for the things that we achieve and the things that we have.
