Day 7 - Official School Closure Day!

Today was the official first home schooling day. I have now been sent many logins to access all three of my children's 365 Teams. This has been fun as I keep accessing the wrong one. We've now got a new timetable created by the children that mixes a lot of the activities that have been suggested from school and a lot of other fun ideas.

Mark had to work. A family that is due home currently has no heating system so its a must do and he is doing his best to stay away from everyone.

The rest of us were up, dressed and ready for the day. At 9am we joined thousands of others around the world to take part in The Body Coaches PE lesson. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rz0go1pTda8

We then did some reading and handwriting. We may have a big timetable but we do not fill all of this time. As long as we do some of this activity during this slot that's the main thing.

We chose a country to research today and The Cayman Islands were chosen a place where we have family. That will be a topic this week.

After sum lunch and beautiful sunshine we watched a fantastic lesson on the British Sign Language something that we all love learning as a household. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rR2Zb7TbiOA&t=10s RE today was some crafts and word searches.

We only had one moan so far today so I think the realisation of what is going off and that this is the new norm is finally happening. I just hope the sun keeps shining as this is what is helping so far.

I even had chance to visit my craft shed and do some sorting. I hoping I get to do some work tomorrow and set up some online craft sessions. Wish me look or follow me

I am on top of the washing, taking full advantage of being able to hang it out on the line. It smells lovely.
