After doing some reading, spelling, phonics and maths. We spent most of the day in the garden.
We started with a A-Z treasure hunt, made sure we had lots of exercise running around and playing in the garden. The chalks were out to add colour and brighten our spirits and the children had fun building a bug hotel.
When daddy had come home from fixing someone's heating and hot water. We were able to have some family time.
We also all did chores around the house and Jake asked me how to work the washing machine 🙄.
We ended the day positive by joining the rest of the country in giving a round of applause for our NHS staff.
