For Jake’s 2nd Birthday, we hired a little soft play area at our local leisure centre. It is a brilliant play area for toddlers and little ones with a party room attached. Jake loves planes and the first film we went to see as a family was Disney Planes. So tasked as I am with making sure Jake has a dairy, egg and soya free diet, my husband suggested making an aeroplane cake!!!
Erm….I do like a challenge however, I didn’t have the time. So I made him a double layer cake, filled with buttercream and iced. With a personalised cake topper I bought off Ebay.
Again for this party and to stop waste of food and any cross contamination with foods and Jake! We decided to do sandwich boxes again. Therefore we were able to spend more time playing in the ball pit and doing pass the parcel.
