Pirate Birthday!

Rhys is mad on Superheroes but for his 4th birthday we decided to hire the local swimming pool. He has his swimming lessons and really loves it.  So he decided that suddenly he didn’t want a superhero party he wanted to be a pirate!

So a fab little pool with slide, and floats and 19 children and parents! The smiles and laughter on his face were amazing. We spent an hour having fun in the pool before getting ready and meeting in the party room in our fancy dress outfits and for food and party games.

With the fact that we would be rushing around after swimming. We had sandwich boxes made up and full of treats and then played games and had lots of fun with the pass the parcel.

This years cake was loosely based on the Jake and the Neverland Pirates.  However, with the heat it did keep melting as it was covered in chocolate with Blue Jelly to make the sea!
