I have kept everything from when Rhys was born. We have bags of clothes that I kept for the chance we would have another boy. Blankets, toys, bouncers and much more. All items have been stored in the loft. So off up I sent Mark with a list of what needs to be brought down… pretty much everything, so that we could sort through it.
I have managed to find a website to purchase new mattresses for our Quinny carrycot and one that can be specially made for our crib, so with Mark in the loft and me on the computer ordering we are being very organised.
The next job was sorting out the clothes…there were lots! I couldn’t believe how much we had. I only ever bought 3 outfits the rest were gifts before and after Rhys’ arrival. We sorted them into 3 piles, rubbish, charity and good.
Now with us expecting another boy you would think we would be keeping all good, but when looking at the outfits we kept remembering Rhys in them and wanted new memories for Jake so of those outfits were put aside. I thought I was ruthless then Mark who had been ‘It’s cheaper having a boy, when we already have everything’ went through the pile and got rid of more!
So, what do we do with this now very LARGE bag of clothes??? Ebay! we decided to make some pennies towards to baby fund. Unfortunately I am now addicted!
