Well I decided not to go back to my job as a lecturer. Reasons for this consist of wanting to see my child grow up and not miss any of the special moments such as when he took his first steps. Another was the fact that my job even part time was like many full time jobs, this led to the fact I wouldn't get the chance to spend time with my son. Also the fact that Mark is so busy with what he does, we wouldn’t really get chance to have a family life.
So, in order to keep me a little sane, use my organisation skills, keep social and earn a little pocket money, I needed to find something to do. Well I already craft, its my favourite hobby, doesn’t earn much but I enjoy it. However, its not that social. So I have done something that I never imagined I would do, and that is become an Avon Sales Representative and I really enjoy it!
Customers, I am not one to go canvassing and knocking on doors, I hate having to ring people and try to do as much as possible over the internet. So I started with friends and family, then a few neighbours and then I got brave and posted my brochure with a nice little note staring who I am to some more neighbours and so far I am doing OK. Not earning much, but I have met so many new people it has been lovely and if it just stays like this I will be very happy.
Avon products, I like make up every now and then or when I am going out. I like to feel dressed up. However, I do love their nail varnishes! I am addicted to them always have been. I also like the bath and shower products too. So you now know where to come if you fancy anything!
