Okay, the Chilli Plant! During our wedding in Cyprus we had our reception in a restaurant called Ficardo's. We spent the afternoon sipping Champagne, eating mini appetisers and eating cake, in the lovely garden before our evening meal. In the garden were several plants and one chilli plant! Several guests to keep themselves entertained dared one another to eat the chillies of the plant. I forgot all about this until our first anniversary. My aunt and uncle who attended the ceremony thought it would be a nice surprise to take some of the chillies away. Apparently several guests knew of this and kept the secret. They then grew their very own chilli plant from the seeds as a wedding anniversary present. The plant was beautiful and unfortunately I no longer have any pictures. It was massive and we got lots and lots of chillies from it. Therefore we decided we must keep this plant growing. So, I have attempted my own plant and below is a picture to show how we are getting on.
