Prior to my wedding I was spoilt and had not one but two hen parties!
Hen Party 1
The first was a lovely pampering weekend with several close friends and family to Center Parcs. My wedding was in October so we planned a weekend away to Sherwood Forest in the July. Twelve of us in total went and stayed in villas next to one another. What was lovely about it was my Nanna and Grandma were also able to join us as they would not be attending the wedding in Cyprus. We had a fantastic Friday a day in the dome and then at night we took my Gran bowling for the first time and she got a strike!!! At 86 she was on it! Followed by the cheesy disco and an Indian takeaway at the villa. Saturday was a lovely day in the pancake house, on the beach and it the dome. Followed by a lovely evening out for dinner. Sunday was pamper day in the beautiful Aqua Sana and then a lovely tea, with lots of hen party activities, scrapbooks and gifts. Those that hung around Monday enjoyed another pampering day in the dome!
Hen party 2
This was spent on the Nottingham Princess. We hired a boat that went along the River Trent. All guests enjoyed dinner and a disco. However, they must be in fancy dress to attend. Myself as the bride to be went as Tinkerbell! It was a fantastic evening at the end of August, Mark spent the weekend in Bournemouth celebrating his stag do.
